This species prefers intermediate-warm conditions, bright diffused light, and should be kept drier in the winter. It can be grown potted or mounted, but the flowers display much better when mounted.
A super cute miniature! Older bulbs drop leaves as the plant matures. The bulbs are the size of large peas, and the flowers are up to once inch across, much large than the plant.
Native to Yunnan and probably neighboring region of Vietnam. Hekou is a city in city in Yunnan, directly across the Red River from Vietnam and it's rumored the original plant the description was based on actually came from Vietnam, but was sold at a market in Hekou.
