A species with a wide spread range, and temperature tolerant (cool-hot growing).
Range: southern China, northeastern India, Sikkim, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra, Java, Borneo, Celebes, Moluccas, New Guinea and the Philippines
Elevations: sealevel to 1200 m
Light shade, good air movement, let dry slightly between waterings.
